We aim to wholeheartedly support the UK climbing and outdoor industry in all its forms and help create new opportunities for the next generation of climbers and adventurers.

*Elbrus is situated in a politically hostile, volatile area in the Caucus mountain range in Russia. Very much a Serbian/Croatian conflict scenario. Foreign travelers have been kidnapped and ransomed. The UK home office has strongly advised this area as a no go zone. It is possible to get a helicopter flight straight to the mountains base, summit and return to be flown out but I will park this one for the time being. As Thomas Huber said 'the most important thing is life'. You cant fault that. The next highest peak in Europe is Mont Blanc, in the Chamonix Valley in France the home of Alpinism. I will be cutting my teeth in true Alpine style, improving all my foundational mountaineering skills for the task ahead as my next goal.
